Amanda Albert has loved and had a passion for all things film and the arts, for as long as she can remember. It is this drive and passion which led her to a job with AMC Theatres. Beginning as a concession cashier in 2006 in St. Louis (her hometown), she worked her way up to the corporate office, where she currently books films across the country on the Inclusive Programming team. Overseeing Asian-Pacific Films, Sensory Friendly Films Program, Event Cinema, Q&A’s, and much more, this keeps her busy, watching over 600+ movies every year!
In addition to her love of films, she is also very active in the local community theatre scene. Spending her free time volunteering on various production teams with Olathe Civic Theatre Association, The Barn Players, and Shawnee Mission Theatre in the Park as Assistant Stage Manager, Properties Designer, and more. Amanda is elated to be a part of this wonderful board of directors and is looking forward to working the Just Like You team.
