Meet our Team

Filmmaker & Founder

Jen Greenstreet

Multiple award-winning filmmaker, including recipient of the Mid-America Emmy, Jen Greenstreet, has collaborated with a select group of esteemed filmmakers and preeminent nonprofit global organizations. Together, they've produced films and resources that illuminate communities on navigating challenging subjects. These meticulously crafted films have become essential tools for educators, community leaders, therapists, law enforcement officials, parents, and many others, bridging gaps and fostering deeper understanding on crucial topics.

Chief Operating Officer | Filmmaker

Mandi Kearns

Mandi graduated from the The University of Iowa with a major in Elementary Education and specialization in Early Childhood Education, before accepting a job in Kansas City as a second-grade teacher in the KCK School District. This experience provided her with incredible insight into the life of children living at or below the poverty line. After her second child was born in 2009, she became highly involved in non-profit work in relation to food allergy as he was born with anaphylactic food allergies. Since then, she has worked with FARE (Food Allergy Research and Education), has been a food allergy support group founder, inaugural chair of the Children’s Mercy Hospital Food Allergy Patient Family Advisory Board, a Safe Bakes inaugural board member and member of the Children’s Mercy Family Advisory Main Board. In her free time, she enjoys working out and watching her three children participate in sports.  In 2018, Mandi joined Just Like You Films to produce/executive produce Just Like You – Food Allergies and in 2022 she joined Just Like You Films as the Director of Impact.

Director of Development

Robin Levine

Robin is an experienced nonprofit professional with a strong background in event planning, fundraising, and donor relations. She brings expertise in volunteer recruitment and management, customer service, and cultivating lasting donor relationships. Known for her ability to problem-solve and manage multiple priorities, Robin has a proven track record of creating successful events and building meaningful community connections.She holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law and a BS in Elementary Education from the University of Kansas. Robin joined Just Like You Films in September 2025.

Director of Marketing

Alissa Clark

Alissa Clark, a California native and new Colorado resident, has been a film lover her entire life. After watching the trailer for the JLY Film “Anxiety + Depression” she knew she had to be a part of something so impactful.  As the Director of Marketing, Alissa has managed digital marketing and social media management since 2021.

Andrew (Andy) Navran

Andrew (Andy) Navran is a financial advisor with Edward Jones. Andy partners with families, business professionals, business owners and retirees to help grow, protect, and pass down wealth to future generations. Andy's experience also includes leading the finance and operations teams of some of the largest public and privately held companies in the Kansas City area. Andy is committed to giving back to the community. He has served on several non-profit boards as board President, Vice President, and Treasurer. Andy is a graduate of The University of Kansas and holds an MBA in Finance and Bachelor of Science degree in business.

Dan Fromm has had two careers: as a writer and producer for ESPN and in marketing, where he founded an agency and worked at BarkleyOKRP. He is passionate about collaboration and creativity and serves on boards like the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art and UMKC.

Jon Ellsperman

John Ellspermann is a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley and currently serves as the Complex Manager for the Missouri/Kansas Complex. John began his career as a Financial Advisor in 1973 and has since held a variety of roles in management including Producing Branch Manager, Regional Sales Manager, and Regional Director. In his current role, John supervises 175+ Financial Advisors spanning two states. As a Complex Manager, John prides himself on cultivating a culture shaped by Morgan Stanley’s core values - Do the Right Thing, Put Clients First, Lead with Exceptional Ideas, Commit to Diversity & Inclusion, Give Back. John applies positive reinforcement to encourage best practices, and he opts to celebrate success in a fun way. Whether employees are new in their career or veterans of the industry, John emphasizes the importance of respecting everyone’s input and creating a forum for collaboration and advancement. Outside of work John finds balance through his family, hobbies, and community involvement. John is an avid golfer and he enjoys spending time with his children and 7 grandchildren. John has spent time on the board of the Carriage Club and he is currently President of the board at Mission Hills Country Club. As an advocate for giving back, John is a past Chairman of the Multiple Sclerosis Society Mid America Chapter and he also works with The Nelson-Atkins Museum as well as the Kauffman Center. John earned an undergraduate degree in management from Purdue University and went on to earn his MBA from Samford University. He holds the Series 7, 63, 65, 3, 9, and 10 licenses.

Kim Fournier

Kim Fournier received her undergraduate degree from Drury University in Springfield, Missouri. She then returned home to attend law school at the University of Missouri- Kansas City School of Law where she received her J.D. in 1995. After graduating, Kim worked as a law clerk to the Honorable Jack E. Gant in Jackson County Circuit Court. She then went to the City of Kansas City as an Assistant City Attorney practicing in the field of eminent domain. In 2001 she began with the Missouri Attorney General’s Office as an Assistant Attorney General practicing in the field of workers’ compensation. Ultimately, she became the Chief Counsel of the Labor (work comp) Division at the Attorney General’s Office and oversaw approximately 40 attorneys and support staff in the Labor Division while maintaining an active litigation and appellate practice. She remained in that position until August of 2025 when she was appointed to be an Administrative Law Judge for the Division of Workers’ Compensation. In that role, Kim adjudicates work comp cases for the citizens of the State of Missouri.Kim is married and has two wonderful adult children and two dogs. She loves spending time with her family and friends, walking the dogs, and reading. She has been involved in numerous church, civic and bar organizations throughout her career. She has been a member, a past president of and currently on the foundation for the Association for Women Lawyers of Greater Kansas City. She takes great pride in her involvement in that organization as well as all the others she has served over the years.

Mara has over 25 years of experience in sales and sales leadership roles, primarily within the healthcare sector, ranging from tech startups to Fortune 50 companies; she currently owns a small business. Mara holds a degree in behavioral psychology and is an avid believer in the power of storytelling to transform and unite one another.

Shawn Edwards is a film critic for Fox 4 News (WDAF-TV) in Kansas City, Missouri. Edwards has been a film critic for the station since 2000. Edwards began his professional film criticism career in 1997 as an associate editor for the PitchWeekly where he won several journalism awards for his news stories, features and film reviews.
