Local child with facial anomaly featured in documentary
Earlier this month, Winston hit the red carpet for the premiere of a documentary he stars in about facial anomalies that reminds everyone they are just like you.
Just Like You Films (JLYF) announced that it has been awarded a Gold Anthem Award, (presented by: The Webby Awards) under the category of Health for their film, Just Like You – Anxiety + Depression.
The Teen Advisory Board of Just Like You Films has recently started working on ways to help students at Shawnee Mission East better understand people with disabilities and conditions like Autism, severe burns and cancer.
